How to use it
- Add your source footage.
- Open References and upload a reference or choose one from Discovery.
- Name the traits you want and any exceptions, such as keeping your original dialogue.
- Render, compare the result with the reference and request focused revisions.

Use the reference for short opening shots, a slower product reveal and warm colour. Edit only my product footage. Keep the label readable, use clean cuts and leave the final product shot on screen longer. Add no captions.
What to check
A reference guides the edit; matching a camera move or scene still depends on what your footage contains.
Check sound separately from picture. State whether to retain source sound, use a supplied soundtrack or make a silent edit, and use audio you have permission to publish.
How to evaluate a reference match
Keep reference, brief and output together. Compare opening, rhythm, text and ending; request one correction. The fragrance test demonstrates timing revision without a reference. Test reference accuracy on your own material.
