The test
On 17 September 2026, Shorty’s team uploaded six already-public clips through the browser editor, submitted the brief below and downloaded the first MP4. We then requested one timing change and downloaded the revised MP4. No reference video was supplied. This is one first-party product test, not an independent comparison or customer testimonial.
First cut: four equal shots
The editor selected a bottle close-up, a portrait, the dune setting and the bottle trio. The first timeline used four 2.5-second shots.
Original downloaded MP4. 1080 × 1920, 30 fps, 300 video frames. Silent audio stream. Watch the film ↗

Create a 10-second vertical 9:16 fragrance campaign from these six supplied clips. Open on a clearly visible perfume bottle, move through a portrait and the dune atmosphere, and end on the bottle trio. Use each chosen shot once, clean hard cuts, no generated scenes, no text overlays, no captions and no audio. Keep the real bottle shape and labels unchanged. This is a source-clip editing test, not a recreation of an existing finished video.
Revised cut: give the product more time
The revised timeline keeps the four shots and their order. The first three last two seconds each; the final bottle-trio shot lasts four seconds. The film remains ten seconds long.
Original revised MP4. The same vertical format and silent audio; no added captions or scenes. Watch the film ↗

Keep the same four shots in the same order. Change the timing to 2 seconds for each of the first three shots and 4 seconds for the final bottle-trio shot, keeping the total length at 10 seconds. Keep hard cuts and the vertical 9:16 format. Do not add text, captions, new scenes or audio.

Observed results and limits
Both downloaded files contain 300 video frames at 30 fps and a silent AAC track. We checked the decoded audio and inspected the shot sequence. The published files have not been recut or had their audio removed.
| Measure | Observed result |
|---|---|
| First cut submitted / ready observed | 13:41:24 / 13:55:33 UTC; about 14 min 9 sec between observations |
| Revision submitted / ready observed | 13:56:46 / 14:02:01 UTC; about 5 min 15 sec between observations |
| Timing limitation | The result may have completed before we checked it. These are observation intervals, not exact processing times. |
| Initial estimate | Approximately 132 credits shown before submission |
| Actual charged credits | Not verified; the estimate is not a final cost measurement |
| Human interventions | Six file selections, one initial brief, one revision request and review of both outputs |
What this test establishes
On these six clips, the browser editor selected four shots, rendered a silent vertical film and followed a specific timing revision. It does not establish performance on every kind of footage, reference matching, automatic batch publishing or a typical completion time.
