Write a format pair for each concept

For every idea, create a vertical row and a landscape row in the delivery list. Keep the message and approved wording together, then add notes about what must remain visible in each shape.

For a cooking demonstration, portrait may focus on the hands and bowl. Landscape may show the whole workstation. The same story can use different framing. Forcing an identical crop is less important than preserving the action the viewer needs to understand.

Use the batch controls for separate requests

In Shorty, prepare individual edits and use the available batch workflow within your plan’s limit. Specify 9:16 for the portrait request and 16:9 for the landscape request. Confirm the selected media and brief for each before submission.

Do not interpret “at the same time” as a guarantee of identical completion times or a single export action that creates every canvas. Batching groups work; the account’s current controls and limits determine how those requests are processed.

Review by concept, then by format

First compare the pair for factual consistency. Are the product name, offer, and message the same? Then review each version on its own for composition. Check moving subjects, captions near edges, and any detail that occupies only a small part of the wide source.

Mark approval separately for each file. If one version needs a correction, make sure its filename and notes identify it clearly. Keep the finished pair together for delivery so the next person does not have to infer which file belongs to which placement.
