Two new ways to work arrive today. Shorty Studio brings the full Shorty editor into ChatGPT, and Share lets you invite people into an edit to watch it or change it with you.
Shorty Studio in ChatGPT
With Shorty connected to ChatGPT, ask it to open Shorty Studio. The real Shorty editor opens inside the chat, with Discovery references, your footage, your edits and the revision box all in one place.
Pick a reference, add clips and send. ChatGPT builds the edit with Shorty, and you watch it render without leaving the conversation. To revise, select a title or a clip in your edit and say what should change.
Sign In Safely in Your Browser
Sign in opens Shorty in your own browser, where you use Google or email as usual. Studio connects as soon as you’re done, and your Shorty sign-in is never handed to the chat. Use the same Shorty account you connected to ChatGPT.
Opening Studio never uses credits.

A quicker start for new accounts
New accounts now begin with a short welcome: seven quick questions about the footage you edit and the videos you want to make, then a look at the plans.
Good to know
How do I connect Shorty to ChatGPT?
Follow the ChatGPT steps on Shorty’s MCP page and sign in with your Shorty account. Then ask ChatGPT to open Shorty Studio.
Do people I share with need an account?
Yes. Everyone signs in before opening a shared edit, and an email invite only works for the email address it was created for.
Bring Shorty into the chat, and bring your team into the edit.
