Partner terms
and conditions
The rules for sharing Shorty, earning commission and taking part in our partner program. Operated by Tools Products FZ-LLC (“Shorty”, “we”, “us”).
1. Your agreement with Shorty
These terms apply to your participation in Shorty Partners. By accepting them when applying, or participating after receiving these terms, you agree to follow them. If you apply for an organisation, you confirm that you can enter into this agreement on its behalf.
These terms supplement Shorty’s Terms of Service. These partner terms control questions specific to this program; your approved campaign settings or a separate written agreement with Shorty control your individual commercial rate, duration and payout arrangements. Read those settings before promoting. Contact us if they are missing or differ from an offer you received.
2. Joining and keeping your account
You must be at least 18 and of legal age to enter into this agreement where you live. Creators, educators, publishers and community owners may apply. Give accurate names, contact details, your main platform and country, and keep them current. Eligibility also depends on applicable law and whether our providers can support your location.
We may review applications and ask for information about your promotional channels. Use your link once your account is approved. An application does not guarantee acceptance or income. Keep passwords and personal dashboard setup links private; tell us promptly if your account is compromised. You are responsible for your own promotional costs.
3. How you may promote Shorty
Share your personal referral link through your own original videos, tutorials, social posts, newsletters, courses, communities and relevant conversations. Follow the rules of each platform and respect other people’s rights.
Disclose the relationship. Make it clear, near your recommendation or link, that you may receive a commission. Use the disclosures required by applicable law and the platform. A clear example is: “I may earn a commission if you subscribe through this link.”
Keep claims accurate. Describe the product and your experience honestly. Only advertise prices, discounts and features that Shorty currently offers and that apply to your audience. A referral link alone does not create a discount; available offers appear at checkout.
4. Promotion that is not allowed
- Paid traffic: paid ads pointing to Shorty or your partner link, including paid search and boosted or sponsored placements used to drive referrals.
- Brand bidding: buying search ads on Shorty’s brand, product names, domains or confusing variations.
- Coupon and incentive listings: posting your link on coupon, deal or cashback sites, or advertising a discount or offer that Shorty has not authorised.
- Impersonation: presenting yourself, an account or a website as Shorty or an official Shorty channel. Do not use misleading names, domains or branding.
- Self-referrals: using your own link to purchase for yourself, or arranging another account or transaction to obtain a commission on your own purchase.
- Spam: unsolicited bulk messages, repetitive irrelevant comments, or promotions that violate a community’s rules.
- Artificial attribution: bots, fake accounts, fabricated purchases, forced redirects, placing referral cookies without a genuine visit, or interfering with another partner’s tracking.
Do not ask customers to bypass consent choices or share their login or payment details with you. We may request the location of a promotion and require misleading or prohibited material to be corrected or removed.
5. Eligible purchases and commission
Shorty offers up to 25% commission on eligible subscription revenue for up to 12 months from the referred customer’s first qualifying subscription. Your approved rate and reward duration are shown in your campaign. The maximum advertised rate is not automatically assigned to every partner, and no automatic increase is promised.
Attributed paid subscriptions, renewals and upgrades can qualify within that period. A click, account registration, free trial or unpaid invoice does not by itself earn commission. Self-referrals, fraudulent transactions and purchases outside the campaign’s eligible products or reward period do not qualify.
Commission is calculated on the eligible amount recorded for the transaction under your campaign settings. Discounts reduce the amount paid; the campaign’s calculation settings determine the treatment of taxes and other adjustments. Renewals generate commission only when paid. Cancellation prevents commission on future unpaid renewals and does not itself invalidate an earlier eligible payment.
Quarterly or annual payment does not guarantee an immediate partner payout. Crediting, review and release follow your campaign’s payment settings. The calculator illustrates monthly renewals at the maximum rate with no cancellations or refunds; it is not a payout schedule or an earnings guarantee.
6. Referral links and tracking
Use the personal link issued through your Shorty FirstPromoter account. The program’s stated referral cookie window is 60 days, subject to the approved campaign and the visitor’s tracking permission. That window is an opportunity to attribute a referral, not a promise that every visit will be recorded.
Shorty requests advertising-cookie permission for referral tracking. Browser blocking, declined consent, deleted cookies, changing devices or another referral link may prevent or change attribution. Existing accounts are not automatically converted into new signup referrals by revisiting through a link.
FirstPromoter’s recorded attribution, billing records and your campaign settings are used to assess a commission. Do not alter the tracking mechanism. If something appears missing, contact us with your partner account and the relevant dates so we can review it. A report does not guarantee retrospective attribution.
7. Refunds, disputes and corrections
A refunded, reversed or fraudulent purchase does not earn payable commission. A partial refund may reduce the related commission. A disputed payment or suspected violation may be held while it is reviewed.
We may correct errors and reverse commissions linked to ineligible transactions or prohibited promotion. If a related commission has already been paid, the adjustment may be deducted from a future commission balance, with the reason available on request. You may ask us to review an adjustment. These rules do not change the customer’s refund rights.
8. Receiving payment
Provide payment details through the partner dashboard or the payout provider’s secure process. Shorty does not collect bank details in its application form. Complete any identity, tax or payment verification required by the provider.
Your campaign specifies the supported payout method, currency, minimum balance, review period and payment schedule. Only approved commissions that meet those requirements are payable. A pending balance is not a completed payment. If these settings are not visible, ask Shorty for written confirmation before relying on a particular amount or payment date.
You are responsible for taxes on your partner income and for keeping payment details accurate. Any applicable provider or currency-conversion charges must be disclosed in the payment process. Payment can be delayed by incomplete verification, incorrect details, a transaction review or provider restrictions. Contact us if a payment is overdue under your confirmed schedule.
9. Content, branding and independence
You keep ownership of your own content. You must have permission to use footage, music, images, testimonials and other material in your promotions. Participation does not transfer rights in Shorty’s software, branding or assets. Use supplied promotional materials only with the permission and instructions accompanying them; our general Terms of Service govern other use of our marks.
You participate independently. You are not Shorty’s employee, agent or authorised representative, and cannot make commitments on our behalf. A separately agreed creator partnership must be confirmed in writing.
10. Personal information and account security
Shorty and FirstPromoter process partner account information, application details, program acceptance, referral attribution and commission records to operate the program. FirstPromoter hosts the partner portal, and payment providers process information needed for payouts. Their applicable terms and privacy notices also apply when you use their services.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice describe Shorty’s processing and cookie choices. Use any information available in your dashboard only to manage your participation; do not publish customer details or add referred users to mailing lists without the necessary permission. Keep personal setup links, passwords and payment information secure.
11. Review, suspension and leaving
You may stop promoting and ask us to close your partner account at any time. We may suspend or end participation for material rule violations, misleading information, fraud, legal or security risk, or provider eligibility restrictions. Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to respond or correct it.
During a review, affected commissions may remain pending. Rule violations may lead to withholding or reversal of related commissions and account closure. Stop using the partner link and any permissions granted solely for the program when participation ends. Valid commissions already earned remain subject to verification and the agreed payment terms; closing an account does not automatically forfeit unrelated valid earnings.
To dispute a decision, contact us through Help with your account email, relevant promotion or transaction dates, and an explanation. Do not create another account to avoid a restriction.
12. Changes and other legal terms
We may update the program and publish revised terms with a new effective date. Material changes will receive reasonable additional notice through the service or the email on your account. Changes to commercial terms apply prospectively as communicated; they do not remove a valid commission already earned. You may stop participating if you do not accept a change.
The provisions on service availability, third-party services, liability, indemnity and general matters in our Terms of Service also apply, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing here excludes mandatory rights or our obligation to pay valid approved commissions.
As set out in our Terms of Service, the governing law is that of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction subject to mandatory local rights. Contact us first so both sides can try to resolve a dispute in good faith for 30 days, without preventing urgent relief for intellectual property or confidential information.
13. Questions and support
Contact Tools Products FZ-LLC through Shorty Help for application, commission, payment or terms questions. Include your partner account email and enough detail to identify the issue, but never send a password, private dashboard setup link or full payment credentials.
