# Create and reuse your own video style

Create a named Shorty style from up to 10 reference images or videos. Once analysis completes, the style is saved for reuse in the current account or workspace.

## Save a style

- Select the account or workspace where you want to use the style.
- Open the reference picker and choose Create a style from references.
- Give the style a recognizable name and add up to 10 reference images or videos.
- Use references with a coherent look, then submit the style for analysis. Check the credit estimate before proceeding.
- Return to your saved styles and choose it for a new edit. Add the source footage and the message that makes this video distinct.

## Pick references that agree

Use a small set that demonstrates the same typography, cut rhythm and overall treatment. If one reference is a slow product reveal and another is rapid meme editing, explain which parts you intend to carry across. References provide direction; the new video still needs its own source material.

## Separate the saved look from this edit’s instructions

Reuse the saved style while changing the audience, opening line, source clips or call to action. Include required product names and exact claims in the current brief. Check that readable captions and accurate product colours survive the chosen treatment.

## Find the style in the right place

Saved styles follow the active account or workspace context. If a style appears to be missing, check the selected workspace and whether its analysis completed. Applying a saved style reuses its analysis; the new edit and any revisions still use their own processing credits.

## Keep the ideas coming

### Save and reuse your own visual style

Create your own saved Shorty style from up to 10 reference images or videos. Reuse it for new edits in the same account or workspace, alongside the brief and source footage for each video.

### Reference-guided editing

Shorty analyses a reference video and uses its shot structure, pacing, transitions, framing, text treatment and colour direction to edit your own footage.

### Understand editing credits

Use the current pricing page, account balance, and displayed estimate to evaluate the work you submit. Include review and additional revisions when comparing the total cost of a finished video.

## Questions, answered.

### Can I use images as well as videos?

Yes. The style creator accepts supported reference images and videos, up to 10 items in one style.

### Do I have to upload the references again for every edit?

No. Choose the completed saved style from its account or workspace to reuse its analysis.

## Your next video starts here.

Bring the footage. Tell us the idea. Shape the edit.
