### Is there an AI where I can describe the edit in words and it edits my video?

Yes. In Shorty, upload your clips and describe the edit in plain words: length, format, order, captions, music and pace. Shorty edits your footage and renders a finished MP4. To change it, describe the change and the rest stays.

### Can I make an Airbnb or vacation rental video from my own clips?

Yes. Upload a walkthrough of the rental, name the features guests book for (hot tub, fireplace, view) and ask for a rental-style tour. Shorty adds the title and numbered feature tags, grades the footage and renders an MP4 for your listing and social.

### Can AI make a real estate reel with captions and price overlays?

Yes. Write the price, beds, baths and address in your brief and ask for them on screen, and Shorty places them as text over your walkthrough clips or photos in a vertical reel, with room labels and captions. It shows only the facts you write, so check every figure in the export.

### Can AI make a wedding highlight video from our guests’ phone clips?

Yes. Download your guests’ clips from the shared album, upload up to 150 of them to Shorty, name the moments to include and attach your song. Shorty picks the strongest shots, orders them into one story and renders a highlight you can revise by message.

### Can I upload a reference video and my raw footage and have AI edit it for me?

Yes. In Shorty, add your raw clips, add the reference video under References and write what you want, such as “like the reference”. Shorty cuts your footage to match the reference’s pace, captions, beat and titles, renders an MP4 and keeps it in Edits for revisions.

### Can AI match the pacing and style of a reference video?

Yes. Shorty reads a reference video’s cut rhythm, caption placement and highlighted words, transitions, framing and colour, then applies them to your own clips. In music edits it checks every cut against the beat. Name the parts that matter in your brief; anything you write wins over the reference.

### Can I recreate a Reel’s edit one to one with my own clips?

Yes. Add the Reel as the reference, add your clips and write “recreate it one to one”. Reference Match 2.0 rebuilds the reference’s opening and titles with your footage and matches its captions, pace and cuts. How close it gets depends on whether your clips have similar shots.

### How do I make my first video in Shorty?

Add your clips or photos, describe the edit, and optionally add a reference video. Review the canvas and credit estimate before submitting. Shorty prepares the cut; you can review the result, request changes, and download the MP4.

### Which files should I add to a Shorty edit?

Add source video clips or supported photos that show your story. One edit can use up to 150 clips, 8 GB in total, and each uploaded source video can be up to 1 GB. An optional reference can be MP4, MOV, or WebM up to 256 MB.

### Why does my edit look different from the reference?

A reference guides the treatment of your footage. The result also depends on the shots you supply. Identify the specific difference, check whether the footage supports your target, and request one focused revision.

### How do I fix incorrect or badly placed captions?

Check captions against the source speech, then request the exact wording, timing, or placement change. Select the editable caption or title where that option is available. Review the new result for spelling and whether the text hides an important part of the picture.

### Can I change one part of a finished Shorty video?

Yes. Open the edit and describe the change. In supported compositions, select an editable element to attach it to the request. Identify the scene or element, specify the change, and explain which details should stay the same.

### Where is my edit after I close the tab?

Sign in to the same account and open Edits to find your submitted run and its latest status. Check that existing run before starting another edit. An unsubmitted draft and a submitted cloud job have different recovery expectations.

### How do I download or recover my finished video?

Open the completed result in Edits and use its download action to save the MP4. If playback or downloading fails, reopen the existing result and try again before starting another render. Review the saved file before publishing.

### Why does the cost of an AI edit vary?

Use the current pricing page, account balance, and displayed estimate to evaluate the work you submit. Include review and additional revisions when comparing the total cost of a finished video.

### Download SRT and WebVTT captions

When a completed edit has saved caption timings, open Subtitles and download SRT or VTT. These files carry caption text and timing for the edited output, ready to inspect in your video player or publishing tool.

### Create and reuse a style

Create a named Shorty style from up to 10 reference images or videos. Once analysis completes, the style is saved for reuse in the current account or workspace.

### Share a cut and collect timed feedback

Open a completed Shorty edit, choose Share for review and create a link for that version. Reviewers can watch and leave comments at a video time without a Shorty account. Links expire after 30 days and can be revoked.
